Salim is a specialist in the field of institutional relations and business development who combines his professional experience working for both the public and private sectors in Spain and emerging countries.
In the public sector he has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Spanish Government in the diplomatic representations of Senegal, Algeria and Morocco, and for the Ministry of the Presidency as Coordinator of Institutional Relations during the Spanish Presidency of the European Union in 2010. Also, he was the trade delegate of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE, by its initials in Spanish, a regional public organization for the promotion of investment and foreign trade in the Autonomous Community of Valencia) in Saudi Arabia.
Subsequently, he has worked in the field of business development in the engineering sector working for the INCOSA Group. From there, he joined Queiroz Galvāo as Deputy Director in the Strategic Alliances and Institutional Relations Department.
He is a member of the Africa Working Group of the Real Instituto Elcano.
He has a degree in Law from the University of Seville and a master’s degree in international Relations and Diplomacy from the Spanish School of Diplomacy.
