26 Mar Enertech will make direct investments in infrastructure projects in Latin America and will count with FOCE for the identification of projects, and the development of technical studies
Last February, FOCE was selected by EnerTech Holding Company, which belongs to Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), for the identification and development of technical studies in water and renewable energy projects in Latin America.
Under a PPP and concessions framework, EnerTech will develop and operate water and energy infrastructure projects that are considered a priority by the Latin American governments.
With this contract, FOCE reaffirms its position in the region and reinforces its technical capacities for supporting contractors and developers of infrastructure projects, offering value-added services throughout the project’s cycle.
EnerTech is an investor, promoter, developer, and operator in infrastructure projects in the water, waste management, clean technology, recycling, energy and renewable energy sectors. It is the technological end of the Government of Kuwait to make the country a regional actor of reference for the transmission of clean technology know-how. Currently, EnerTech has renewable energy projects in its portfolio that amount to more than 25GW, and it has commissioned more than 25 water projects in 9 countries across Africa and Asia.
KIA is the oldest sovereign fund, and the fifth in foreign direct investment, exceeding €500,000 euros in assets, internationally. It is the financial end of the Government of Kuwait for the investment, promotion and development of Projects.
