Amir has extensive experience as an analyst and consultant of fundraising. He has held various positions within the public and private sector as head of institutional and commercial relations for European Union, Middle East and ASEAN affairs, in Spain and international level.
Previously, he worked as an analyst and fundraiser at the Civio Foundation, he also worked at the Madrid Club and Hewlett Packard, and has been consultant for other companies, foundations and start-ups to improve their fundraising and impact. Within the public sector, he has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Spanish Government in the diplomatic representations of Egypt and Indonesia, where he did consultancy work on tenders for NGOs, and for the Ministry of the Presidency, as coordinator of institutional relations within the office of the main representative for the Spanish Presidency of the European Union in 2010.
He holds a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Salamanca and the Freie University in Berlin. He has a master’s degree in diplomacy and International Relations, with a specialization in International Economics, from the Spanish Diplomatic School and another one in Public Procurement and Tendering from the Organization of Ibero-American States.
